Pros

I've joined as an Engineering Intern, based on job openings Hackerrank exams could be conducted for interns. Shortlist listing of candidates could be done by fast, efficient, team player, and finally manager's review. For a position, 2 to 3 tech interviews may have, then finally Intern to FTE (Full Time Employee). Initially OpenText offers 6months internship, if you not get converted into FTE OpenText may extend your internship period based on the work and project. Sometimes OpenText Bangalore can also be offering intern to FTE from Hyderabad campus. Nice environment to work. Learn many technologies. Free transportation throughout Hyderabad. Live cafeteria. Providing cab for late logout employees.

Cons

conversion of Intern to FTE ratio will be less. Very less onsite opportunity.

Pros

Pros was that you had a job (and not for long if they find a way to outsource your position in the company).

Cons

Cons are so many to list, but from the leadership in this company being so out of touch with his/her employees, the restructuring done in their company to save some bucks on their end was crazy brutal, firing all of their talented workers to implement automated programs that did not function properly. Overall, horrible experience with OpenText, lies upon lies when it came to growth opportunities and keeping teams in the dark, no communication what so ever. Their business practices were just plain terrible.
