Pros

You'd need an electron microscope to find one.

Cons

Upper management has a very negative attitude towards the employee base. HR is nonexistent: -Benefits cheapened every year -401k match is a joke, except no one is laughing (perhaps the CEO) -Can't keep a head of HR because once they realize they can't do anything to improve employees' situation, they leave. -At one point, HR department reported to Finance. -Employee awards program was eliminated, and we were told that a simple emailed "thank you" should suffice. -CEO doesn't believe in merit raises for employees, and if you take a promotion don't expect your pay to be brought up to code. -CEO personally intervenes to significantly reduce commissions for top sales performers on big deals. -Company is reliant on acquisitions for growth, yet slaps Sales organization with huge organic growth targets which are unachievable due to unwillingness to invest in product or marketing. -All supporting organizations operate on skeleton crews, meaning no work-life balance. -Telework has been severely restricted and badge check have been implements. Note, this is a "technology company" and it's 2019. -Smart and experienced leaders leave because all their best efforts are overruled by CEO's whims.

Pros

Pros was that you had a job (and not for long if they find a way to outsource your position in the company).

Cons

Cons are so many to list, but from the leadership in this company being so out of touch with his/her employees, the restructuring done in their company to save some bucks on their end was crazy brutal, firing all of their talented workers to implement automated programs that did not function properly. Overall, horrible experience with OpenText, lies upon lies when it came to growth opportunities and keeping teams in the dark, no communication what so ever. Their business practices were just plain terrible.
