Pros
Remote work arrangements. The company's stock performance appears to be a major focus and may appeal to those primarily interested in shareholder returns.
Cons
This is, without question, the most toxic workplace I have ever had the displeasure of working for. During my time here, there have been rolling layoffs that seem to continue year after year, creating a constant atmosphere of fear, uncertainty, and low morale. Employees are repeatedly asked to do more with less while watching colleagues disappear in wave after wave of workforce reductions. My team’s senior leadership culture is defined by severe micromanagement and a deep lack of knowledge, skills and experience in the areas of the business and teams they are leading. Many leaders seem more interested in taking credit for the work of their teams than supporting or developing the people actually doing the work. Trust is scarce, and decision-making is often disconnected from frontline realities. What troubles me most is the disconnect between the company's stated mission and what I observe in practice. Financial performance and shareholder value consistently take precedence over employees, patients, and the broader goal of improving healthcare delivery. Watching ongoing workforce reductions, including physicians and healthcare providers, while healthcare access challenges continue across the country is deeply discouraging and concerning. This environment leaves everyone questioning whether the organization's priorities are truly aligned with the values it publicly promotes. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking an ethical, supportive, mission-driven healthcare environment. There are far better places to build a career in healthcare.
