Is this your company?

Started out great, but turned out to be worst place I've ever worked. - Project Manager POSSIBLE Employee Review

Pros

Some interesting work, good creative, smart people in Marketing Sciences group and Creative group.

Cons

The CEO " leads" by ghost-written articles and company emails, and by hiring people who cover for his drunk exploits. He has a horrible temper, and chooses favorites and scapegoats. If you work in proximity to him, you'd better hope you have "earned" being a favorite and are willing to do what it takes to remain one - look the other way when he makes sexist remarks, blows thousands on booze and other activities best left unsaid, and has other people write his "thought leadership" pieces. Much of the company culture revolves around this type of dysfunction.

Pros

• There are some great people at POSSIBLE • Fun company activities especially if you like drinking • Decent work/life balance • They've managed to convince everyone in Seattle that they're the best place to work

Cons

I've never worked for a company that tries so hard to convey that they're different and that they care about their employees, but then their actions tell a completely different story. Have some integrity. • No employee-training • No clear process given on how to get a raise or a promotion - vague answers by HR seem to be a run-around • Management is very inconsistent - people who are too young or have played politics in a way that only benefits themselves and not the careers they manage • There are the chosen few who have become the darlings of management and then the rest of the POSSIBLE folks who slug along until they figure out the game they can't win • Near cult-like mentality around company events, company meetings and company culture that masks what people aren't getting out of the company in terms of career growth • Many promises made but none kept
