Pros

Innovative: PPD tends to lead the pack with technology, processes and implementing industry leading changes allowing staff to gain experience and growth. Benefits: PPD has some above average benefits like gym reimbursement, etc. It's not worth staying for but other companies should take note.

Cons

Every few years there is a large organizational and management change from outside and it is awful and produces terrible morale. My coworkers were miserable and so I became the same. Lots of turnover, staff out on mental health leave and staff calling me crying daily about work conditions and expectations Very Unrealistic work expectations and a severe lack of training and support. 10+ years at this organization and I finally decided it was time to permanently move on. This company does not reward or promote within which produces a lack of motivation or care from tenured staff , it is hard to get your team to perform without incentive. The buyout with thermo and change in CEO has been unfortunate as it didn't breed positive change as promised. No opportunities for growth or learning, promotions and salary increases are to get new staff and not for tenured staff.

Pros

Compensation and bonus has been available through ebbs and flows of business. Hard work is typically seen and rewarded.

Cons

7 line managers in 10 years (through one role change) Company restructures often. You must be willing to adapt and thrive in constant change.
