Pros
PPD is an excellent company as far as caring about it's employees. I had the opportunity to correspond with management in various departments, and in each case the managers were responsive, competent, and invested in the success of those that reported to them. The HR group is very committed to the success of PPD and support the company's employees tirelessly. Corporate communication is good, and there is an emphasis on creating detailed career ladders and objectives in each division.
Cons
As with any larger organization, PPD can feel a bit political and bureaucratic, so it is important to maintain open dialog with their strong senior staff.
