Pros
So far I am very happy with my choice to join PPD. I feel valued and appreciated and the clinical management team members are great!
Cons
HR would not negotiate my starting salary and did not offer a hiring bonus and my HR contact sounded as if she could care less if I accepted their offer to join the company or not. It did not feel very welcoming or like they were excited to have me personally. It was more like, here's an offer, accept it or we'll offer it to anyone else. My experience with HR was disappointing and it wasn't the best start. I actually considered turning down the offer. I think it reflects negatively on the company.
