Pros
If you're in the right department, you can take advantage of the 4 week vacation policy. 12 week parental leave is great. The new Seaport office is a fun environment to work in. If you play your cards right and please the right people, it can achieve a good level of work-life balance at PTC.
Cons
Vision is clear...strategy and execution are not. Little time is spent on planning, everyone seems to be running around without really able to articulate where they're going or why. People who are promoted are positive, politically savvy, and exceptionally good at managing-up. Hardly any managers know how to develop their teams. Compensation is laughable compared to what neighbors in the Seaport pay. Also, the last few posts were clearly written by HR. 4 glowing reviews in a row with 5 stars...
