Pros

- Technology strategy and acquisitions have been excellent - Company is a data-driven culture across all functions - PTC had started to make improvements with culture since moving the HQ to the Boston seaport area and hiring many new people, but it has since stalled with the latest round of layoffs.

Cons

- Recent investments in HR and talent were only for a year or two and has since been severely impacted by the last round of layoffs. More investment needed to offset a decade of no growth or investment in HR (and other corporate functions) - CEO staff turnover continues to be a problem - Compensation is not competitive and PTC has not been able to adapt to the 2021 job market.

Pros

Flexible, great colleagues, good HR training on goals and objectives

Cons

Depends on the group, toxic culture pockets exist, abusive and bullying behavior is laughed at and accepted rather than corrected, unclear strategy, business unit level vision is lacking, no accountability, several HR complaints against a manager go unaddressed, slow to change, can be chaotic, more interest in checking the box than hitting the right mark.
