Too much Politics at the work place - Anonymous employee PTC Employee Review

1. Politics overshadow the pros. Even if you perform excellent, the opportunities will go to people who are relatives/close to the current managers (specially in the Tech Support and Global/Cloud Services department SLM domain). 2.After some time, your learning stops. PTC claims that employees can switch to other departments, but Politics prevails here and good positions are always filled by direct relatives/referrals of current managers/group leads. 3.Corruption in the hiring process in which the close relatives of current managers are hired only. This is reducing the quality of talent in the company and making the politics more stronger here. 3.The company strategy keeps on changing which makes it difficult to realise the growth path of PTC. 4. Not a place for talented employees.The management will try to reduce your expertise.Frustration will make you leave.
