Pros

Benefits for employee only are great! The people are genuinely nice, as your cubical mates become a family. You will work extremely hard, but you will have so much fun.

Cons

The parking lot is a nightmare. You get the standard one hour for lunch, but really, you have 45 minutes. Clock out from your desk, five minute walk to the parking lot, get your food and come back, 5 minutes to find parking, and 5 minutes to get back to your desk and log in. This is probably the only reason they have catered lunches. Also, you clock out at your desk at 4:30, 5, or 5:30, based on seniority. If you're 8-5, good luck getting out on time! You will clock out at your desk, get to your car byb5:05, but be stuck in the parking lot for at least ten minutes. They do have officers trying to help, but it's really awful. You can't stay late with lay, and you can't slip out 5 minutes early to avoid it, even if you came in 5 minutes early. They need more shift options to accommodate the growing number of employees. Adding a 7-4 and 9-6 would help so much! Or letting people take 30 minute lunches and leaving 30 minutes early. No maternity leave. Not flexible with using time off

Regarding parking, as we’ve shared with others, Paycom has experienced tremendous growth. We grew revenue by 46% in 2016. We understand this may create some challenges in the day-to-day when it comes to practical logistics such as parking and lunch. As you indicated, we provide $4 lunches as a convenience and benefit for our employees as well as refrigerators for those who choose to bring their lunch. That being said, we understand sometimes you want or need to go off-campus during the work day. We would ask for your patience as construction continues and we are taking these challenges into consideration as we expand our corporate headquarters. Additionally, we announced an increase to employees PTO accrual rates. Please contact HR for additional information. We appreciate your feedback and will communicate it with the leadership team.

Pros

Get to meet new people every day, the environment and culture is amazing, and I am always welcomed wherever I go!

Cons

Stressful getting the hang of things. Took a couple months. Very worth sticking around because there is great potential to move up.

Pros

- Base salary - PTO - Awesome colleagues - $1 Medical PPO offering

Cons

- Upper leadership seem to not value the operations department as much as they do with sales. They are not consistent as well, which causes them to change the entire department's job description, expectations, & commission structure every few months. Change is good but huge change every 3-4 months is so exhausting. - They overload you with too many clients to handle while increasing the number of internal calls. When asking for support from sales or middle management, its typically a hard negotiation or non-existent. Expect to work way over 40 hours/week and juggle 10-20+ clients at a time. - Sales will oversell on product & implementation expectation which makes the job 1000% harder. Turnover with sales is extremely high so don't expect for even the best reps stay as they either leave, get fired because quota was not met, or the new manager will cut them if they're "not the vibe". You get left with the newbies who does not know how to sell or support you when you need them. - Every role in this company has high turnover in general. Making it very hard to cross collaborate with other departments as everyone is either extremely swamped or new to the role and cannot support as well, - Being forced to go to Oklahoma for training every year, sometimes twice a year.
