Minneapolis is a great office, but company as a whole is rather disjointed - Business Consultant Perficient Employee Review

Pros

Great local management in Minneapolis. Good, friendly coworkers. Focus is on local work, but travel is an option (sometimes it can be required depending on current portfolio). Billable hour bonus rewards you for working, along with an extra bonus for travelers.

Cons

Public company for no other reason than to enable inorganic growth through acquisition that has created a network of disjointed offices throughout the country. Best-performing offices appear to be Minneapolis, Denver, and Dallas. All offices "compete" against one another for revenue bragging rights. Very little cross-office collaboration. Pay is good, but annual increases can be minor. Pretty much a tech only consulting company - some BPM work, but no true management consulting.

Pros

Very little outside of some of the people you work with. FTO is only nice if you have a manager who lets you use it. They did allow work from home, not sure if that is still the case.

Cons

This company was run poorly by Tom Hogan before private equity bought it but the buyout accelerated their decline. If you want to be a cog in the machine, this is the place for you. The leadership is only focused on themselves. They will praise you or throw you under the bus depending on how they feel it makes them look to their bosses. The employees who don’t have a stable long term project live in fear of being let go irregardless of talent and many of their most talented are leaving because they see the writing on the wall.
