Pros
My team was great. I loved working with my immediate team. I had lots of opportunities to grow professionally.
Cons
Last week the media reported on Perficient potentially being up for sale. At the end of last week, Tom sent an email to everyone about not trusting the media. This week Tom confirmed that the sale is happening. This is publicly available information. So, you know what's not a great look for any executive leadership team? Sending a scathing email about how you're essentially upset that somebody leaked to the press, and then within 48-72 hours later, announcing it officially. That says to me that someone or multiple people in your leadership organization don't trust you to make good decisions. Your leadership and that of your executive team failed to grow Perficient organically, and now you are selling them off because you don't know how to be profitable. The number one way staffing firms are profitable is by actually valuing your people. I'm glad I'm not there anymore, and sad that my former colleagues have to experience this kind of uncertainty in today's job market. My advice to everyone still there is to treat this time like your severance and find that new job asap. I look forward to the next fake positive review of Perficient to counter this one.
