Pros

- Compared to city standards, it's OK workplace - Brand - Perks - Young environment (let's say is good) - Have fun, relax, nice espresso

Cons

- It's an IT department. A support/operational/execution center. There's no innovation. - You can barely find teams that are built based on skills or previous experience. - Zero growth/career plan - they give you access to a bunch of learning platforms but they don't really care or assist you with what you should learn and how to grow. Wouldn't be surprised if i see QA people with "Making the first drug in practice for dummies" certification. - Engineers less than 5-10%. If you find some then they are under-utilised. - Hierarchy based place. - Roles VS Experience is an issue in there. You can find lots of people with more that 15y of experience and yet are Sr Associates and Managers with 2/3y of experience. - Salaries are bad calculated. - Old tech to work with. - Work life balance is not that good but I've seen many people working extra hours - mainly because of the US/UK overlap. - Old fashioned US/UK managers with zero tech background - Definitely not a place for Engineers

Pros

A good amount of remote monitoring, which depending on how you view can be a positive.

Cons

Changing systems and inconsistent standards are applied to people. There are many differing models that often muddy how you are supposed to do your job, especially when other staff members don't quite understand. How do you interface with the changing models? There tends to be a lot of blame and foisting of responsibilities. Sometimes you can become overburdened with a lot of work, where people do not respect your time and think that their tasks should take priority. It is possible to be contacted late at night with work to do and then be criticized the next day for not being able to keep up.
