Pros

None anymore. I liked my team, but colleague moral is low now.

Cons

My review would have been much different had I posted this two months ago. I was hired remotely, but Pfizer has decided to force everyone back into offices and if you don't live <50 miles from a site you will likely be laid off. They are also doing mass layoffs and promised to "be transparent" and "not let the news hang over us", but it has been three weeks and we still don't know if we will have a job soon and likely will not find out for another month. They also are giving less severance than they did in previous layoffs. I would say there are little career opportunities there since they do restructuring and layoffs every two years or so. Compensation is less than other companies.

Pros

A good amount of remote monitoring, which depending on how you view can be a positive.

Cons

Changing systems and inconsistent standards are applied to people. There are many differing models that often muddy how you are supposed to do your job, especially when other staff members don't quite understand. How do you interface with the changing models? There tends to be a lot of blame and foisting of responsibilities. Sometimes you can become overburdened with a lot of work, where people do not respect your time and think that their tasks should take priority. It is possible to be contacted late at night with work to do and then be criticized the next day for not being able to keep up.
