A&P: Disconcerting Work Environment - Project Manager PointClickCare Employee Review

Pros

Half-day Fridays in the summer. Nobody knows/cares what you're doing during the day (not good for the company but some like it).

Cons

My experience with PointClickCare A&P has compelled me to share my concerns about their employment & general practices. Lower management utilizes a peculiar & petty approach to hiring & managing teams. Day-to-day work was painful, undocumented, and misaligned. It also became evident my manager praised employees, only to later engage in gossip & slanderous behavior. I was no exception, hearing multiple accusations upon my departure of which were unfounded, undocumented, and simply untrue. Additionally, our 1:1 meetings were often utilized as a platform for my manager to discuss personal health and family issues. My department promoted individuals who contribute minimally (if at all) to the workload, creating an environment where hard work goes unrecognized, promotions appear undeserved, and a feeling of general exclusivity. I seriously question the longevity of this business area given its professional practices.
