Pros

-There have been layoffs company wide for all Departments -About 120 have been let go within the past 2 months

Cons

-We’re a Cybersecurity company that just let go of 2/3 of the GIS Team -Executive leadership keeps saying they’re pushing for IPO but took huge loan to pay out dividends -No faith that IPO will happen even with all these changes

Pros

There are a handful of genuinely good people throughout the company - not within leadership.

Cons

Employees are expected to do more with less- leading to long hours and unsustainable workload. Work-life balance is talked about but not consistently demonstrated by leadership. The culture felt performance-driven at the expense of people. I often felt that employees were valued more for their output than as individuals. Speaking up, challenging decisions, or offering a different perspective did not feel psychologically safe. The CEO’s town hall messaging reinforces this culture. Statements such as “ If you don’t like it here, you can leave” and that employees who don’t learn Ai will be come “obsolete” came across as lacking empathy. Trust in leadership was low from my perspective.
