You will definitely be paying them before they pay you. They do not cover E&O insurance, you have to pay rent for desk space, you have to pay for certain leads, and they require you to be in the office for several of their pointless meetings. These expenses are not disclosed until the last minute (or sometimes not until after you have been hired on). They do not seem to have any strategy and their training is highly lacking. Outside of insurance products, the firms knowledge of investment products is highly lacking. My advise to the potential employee is look for a firm that is actually known as a financial advising firm and not an insurance company.
