RSM Response
7yI have read your feedback with interest and I am always keen to hear what past and present members of the Risk team have to say, as unless we get feedback we cannot address any issues or problems. In this regard, we have carried out a listening exercise with all staff in the faculty at manager level and below over the last year and have made a number of changes; such as providing clarity on progression pathways by signposting the Firm’s core competencies and development programme, and placing a greater emphasis on a variety of communication methods. Where team members are geographically dispersed from others in their team (which, given the size of Technology Risk Assurance and the nature of the work, is inevitable) we are seeking to ensure that they are included as part of a local Risk team for meetings and social events. Lastly, new team structures are in the process of being implemented in Technology Risk so that we can strengthen the line manager relationships for all employees and thereby improve staff engagement and support.
I would like to wish you the best in your future career.
Richard Smith, Head of Risk Assurance
