We are very concerned with your review. Please know that employees are not to clock out to go to the bathroom. If they are asked to do so they should call HR to talk with an HR Business Partner. The only time an employee needs to clock out is when they leave work for the day and if leaving work for a personal appointment or leaving the campus for lunch. As a result, on an annual basis we evaluate our pay grades against other employers in the area and region to ensure we are competitive and make adjustments to our pay ranges as needed to remain competitive. In regards to PTO at the minimum a new hire will begin employment with 3 ½ weeks of PTO if not more. If you did a survey of other organizations you would find that most start new hires with 2 weeks of vacation. You also commented that we need to hire more staff. It should be noted last fiscal year, we hired 1134 new employees of which 141 were rehires and this fiscal year to date we hired 1070 of which 116 were rehires. The rehires are people who left but returned to RHS because they valued working here and wanted to return as their employer of choice.
