Pros

You are able to connect with anyone within Regus for assistance. For the new comers, they are able to train at two different locations before they are fully in their new position. At times they would prefer to hire within. You can learn customer service from answering phone to accounts payable to setting up meetings with your colleagues. This company can show you how to run your center from beginning to end. You can quickly grow with Regus as long as your have full knowledge of the products and what they are marketing. You learn a lot of systems that are used in colleges and universities. Honestly, it what YOU make out of the company! Regus is continuously growing. I love the fact if I chose to move out of the country there is a Regus location in that country. You can transfer, as long as their is a position available for you to transfer to. Also you still have to be interview for that position. One more thing; Please have a backbones for this company. Regus goes through tons of changes, and you must be willing at a drop of a dime to roll with those changes. Backbones is required.

Cons

The pay is not good. We have not receive raises in five years and on top of that our bonuses are continuously getting cut. The one down fall is Videoconferencing. You are not allow to say NO when a client books after hours or even on the weekends. The unfortunate part is, if a Team Member is unable to stay and does not have a person to cover, the General / Center Manager MUST stay. Clients are dissatisfy with the way their billing is being handle overseas instead of in the center. The company has lost it's personal connections to the clients. There are a lot of clients that do not like another person, let alone in another country with their credit card information. The hiring process for a new CM/GM is unbelievable. As stated in Pros "at times they would prefer to hire within". Now, I can go into details with this. We have Team Members that have been with the company for a very long time. The team members are used to train new employees, without any additional pay nor any recognition for a higher position. So many has trained under and above them and they will get overlook by a new employee for that higher position. Learn to get everything in WRITING. This will actually save you. Anyone above you always tends to have a forgetful memory. CM/GM have to generate leads, handle operations in the center ( They eliminated one staff), run reports, attend broker events (after hours), have minimum two to three conference calls per day and still have to sale for their center. The sad part is, if the quoter isn't met, we receive harsh ungrateful calls. You are only good as yesterday.
