Pros

Easy job to get if you don't mind working for low pay with mandatory overtime each week.

Cons

You rent to people with no credit and in many cases within 2 weeks you start the collection process on them. Customers know if they don't answer the phone and don't open the door, eventually the stuff they rented from you will be written off. So, they pay for it for 2 or 3 weeks and then they stop. Most store managers worked their way into that position and have no idea how to manage people.
