Pros

Having a job is better than not having one. That's it.

Cons

Everything else. Most stores being decimated by the economy, say goodbye to that bonus check. No life outside of work. 50+ hour work weeks. Dumbing yourself down to deal with both customers and employees. Racist customers. Was called "white devil" more than once, to which I let loose the "n word" as loud as I could. Guns pulled on me twice on repossessions. Corporate "What have you done for me lately?" mentality. Your history doesn't matter, only your numbers today / this week.

Long hours, weekends → poor work-life balance High stress from sales & collection pressure Inconsistent or micromanaging management Pay often feels low for workload Physically demanding (deliveries, field work) Limited growth; high turnover
