A complete scam! Don't let them fool you

Work from home. That's it
Cons
There are so many things wrong with this company. They act like they are helping restaurants get new customers when in reality they are just looking to mooch of of the restaurants existing regular customers checks. Anyone with half a brain can figure that out in the first 2 weeks (match rate anyone?).. They constantly pat themselves on the back thinking that they are helping when they offer ZERO value to a restaurant. For current employees that disagree, please realize that you are just driving bad restaurants out of business or into bankruptcy. If a restaurant is on RN programs, I am going to presume it is poor quality and poorly run and will not eat there. Management is unethical and AEs that are successful have no soul.

Great culture and the NY team is highly motivated with fantastic leadership straight to the top of the organization. Solid comp plan and benefits.
Cons
All corporate jobs are in Chicago which is where they’re based.

Great people, but don't trust the management team
Mar 2, 2023 - Anonymous/Employee in Chicago, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
As an individual contributor, you are given rope to make mistakes and learn from them. Not a lot of micro management. The people @ RN are all nice, hard working, and competent.
Cons
Management team are hypocrites. ----The management team has said that we are a family @ RN. During our town halls, our CEO asked the executive team what motivates each of them to stay at Rewards Network. In almost every answer, they touted the people as the main driver of their loyalty to Rewards Network. Yet, when they do layoffs, they don't treat people in a way that makes it seem like they actually care about them (I have heard from those who have been cut about the lackluster severance package as well as the lack of help/assistance in their job search). No trust in management ---I understand there are business reasons driving the decision to lay off many corporate employees. However, some of the people who were laid off were very high performers. They were key people driving major initiatives at the company. I find this unsettling because if you are going to cut high performers, how do individuals create job security for themselves if performance is not truly looked at when deciding to cut people? it seems like employees have very little control over their own destiny, which is extremely unsettling. As a result, I know many people within the company looking for new roles because of what happened at RN. It's a shame because it felt like we were building momentum as a company.
Continue readingThank you for sharing your feedback and we’re pleased to see that you feel you have space to perform in your role and that you believe that we have a great team at RN- we agree! Our Executive Team does believe that our employees are what sets us apart and treating every member of our team with respect is important to each of us. Unfortunately, the recent challenges of today’s economic environment must be considered. Like countless other organizations, we made some very difficult decisions to align our expenses with today's economic uncertainty. Every job elimination is an incredibly difficult decision, and we feel the absence of our friends and colleagues. When making these difficult decisions across a high performing team, job performance alone can’t be our only consideration; we prioritized our ability to serve our restaurants and members. As we look ahead into 2023, we are excited about our future as an organization and our continued growth.
