      Pros

      Great if you are a dog lover! I do pet sitting full time so Rover has been a fantastic resource in getting clients to find me. If I hustled more I could make a decent consistent living off of just pet sitting. Great for students.

      Cons

      Wished Rover screened not just the sitters but also the pet owners. Was bit in the face by aggressive dog that Rover failed to screen.

      Good work-life balance, collaborative engineering culture, dogs, two-sided marketplace is an interesting product to work on, forward-thinking about AI tools.

      Cons

      As the overwhelming market leader in the space (RIP Wag!), there is maybe some complacency.
