Great employer until owner retired - Policy Holder Services SelectQuote Employee Review

When the owner, Charan Singh, retired things went downhill very quickly. He cultivated an atmosphere that truly cared about his employees and it worked well because SQ grew and prospered very well during his reign. Once he retired and others took over the care the company showed for employees disappeared. They slashed pay and positions (a department that formerly had 30 employees was cut to 15 for 1 example. That happened in basically every department) so people are getting paid less to do twice as much work. This was not a necessary restructuring due to poor profits or a bad quarter, SelectQuote had actually posted their best quarter yet right before the restructuring. This was purely a greedy power move in an attempt to squeeze more money out of the business by sacrificing employees.
