Pros

Work from home and decent benefits. Payed for the insurance license and trained for a month.

Cons

Only a couple seasons for selling Medicare plans. Eventually you will talk to the same people over and over. As with any job, some people are easy to talk to others are terrible. They claim it’s all inbound leads but it’s not, it’s a third party that transfers calls. Half the time it’s just a cold call or an person that doesn’t want anything. You are selling Medicare plans to older people so you have to keep in mind that some have terrible phones, dementia or need someone else to speak for them.

Pros

Any Pro I would have is outwaited by the overall negative experience.

Cons

A firehose of false leads. The people calling in think they are calling in for a food card. There is no food card. They expect you to change their Medicare plan after they called in under false pretenses.
