      Pros

      Exciting place if you don’t mind chaos and top down micromanagement. Culture varies a lot by team. Decision-making feels arbitrary at times.

      Cons

      People seem to just vanish out of the blue. Shopify does reorgs constantly and with it, seem to let go of good people without cause or explanation. Culture of fear is not a good look.

      Pros

      Remote first culture. If you want freedom of location and a company to truly mean and support it - this is the place.

      Cons

      Constant change. Nothing to hold on to in this role, compensation, KPI's, tools all change every quarter.

      Great folks to work alongside. Work-life balance can be good, but depends upon the team/organization you are on.

      Cons

      Continuous layoffs have led to a poor work culture.
