Pros
Some nice colleagues Coffee machine depending on what office you are in.
Cons
Firstly, in Germany the company has no Betriebsrat. If you apply to be one or recommend someone you will be fired and quietly payed off. Employees are unfairly dismissed, even in permanent contracts. Employees in other countries are not paid to legal regulations and when brought up will also be payed off to keep their mouth shut. Management have no care or regard for employees needs. There is nobody to speak to about this (Betriebsrat again). I was let go on the spot. Without warning. I was provided some reasoning that made no sense when it was clearly for sick leave due to illness. I was questioned in a demeaning and offensive why by my manager just the week before who thought she knew more about my illness from reading one article online than someone who has lived with it. Also, if you have personal reasons such as death of a close one your time off will not be excused. Very little pay for unrealistic expectations. Cannot speak for all departments of course but speaking with other employees from many departments during my time there, everyone has the same opinion.
