      Pros

      When I first started working at Sportsclips, I was fresh out of college, didn't know many techniques, and was not the best at haircutting in general. But Iwas lucky in choosing to start at Sportclips they have classes to teach you there way of cutting and this helped me improve my skills while finding my way of cutting. I would recommend working here as a start and once you feel more confident in your skills then move to a booth/other shop.

      Cons

      The management was not very put together when I worked there, but the manager was very nice and helped me with anything I needed. Another thing that was not very nice was the pay, you were able to take any cash tips you received home with you but it is still only 12.50 an hour +your card tips.

      Cons

      The pay is excellent as long as you’re performance is strong and especially if your flexible with your schedule and full time. But if you’re not a good performer or super part time, this might not be the best place for you.

      Pros

      Great hourly pay with tips. Averaged about $38 to $40 an hour. Great starting place. They do offer training. The co-workers were nice at my location. Management does help you with flexible scheduling so if you have children, it works out great.

      Cons

      Burnout is real. Expected to complete service within an allotted short time. Too many clients come in that want expensive barbershop cuts but want to pay the lowest price (they really shouldn’t even go to sport clips for). Also, way too many clients with long hair wanting full scissor cuts. They won’t turn away clients even if the cuts they ask for are — are not something sport clips does or allows for a lot of time. TV’s get annoying after a while (too loud).
