Pros

Customers are funny The store is usually dead if you end up at a staples that gets no customers You basically get to add this to your resume to get a better job You could honestly go on a 2hr break & come back to no customers lol.

Cons

If your at a store where you struggle to get customers good look , you get stuck with 3 other jobs while only being paid for 1 , the management is actually pretty chill but if they see you can do good at work they'll start making you do there work which once again is an added job Low pay Benefits actually suck You have to do training which actually doesnt teach you anything besides two things which i'll teach you right now : your basically making customers go to staples kiosk almost all the time (not because you dont have it in store but because that's what staples wants) / even though our protection plans (squaretrade) is actually good people dont want to buy it, because it's kinda worthless, most products already have the protection plan included from the manufacture themselves so why buy extra? But you must sale squaretrade , so you really have to force people to buy it in the end, we have stsples liquid armor for 30$ dollars btw , we need to sales thos too , your promoting things people don't really need but you must sale. No advancement in staples unless your willing to move to whereever corp is, the bigger roles like manager & so on arent open until a manager quits , you also csnt really get anything else in this company without moving to where corp is. Okay biggest thing any employee will tell you don't apply for copy & print or print assc. , you will regret working everyday, your the real front end for staples , because customer's are left and right compared to the store itself. Back to school is complete hell & really the only time staples make money lol truth be told. Is it sad that working at a fast food joint is way better than staples? Theres no full time just in case someone tells you that , you could get 34 hrs one week (after a year of working there) then 6 hrs the next two weeks , even with the 25 hrs you still wont make enough to actually pay bills & that's the hardest thing to say , most of the employees live with roommates or family or work 2-3 jobs.
