Pros
benefits package is decent it is interesting and challenging tuition reimbursement casual work environment stable company (job security counts for a lot)
Cons
Lack of respect from coworkers and management SFPP account representatives are hired primarily to answer phones and deal with billing questions from agents and staff. The bulk of the calls are from agents that refuse to use their own calculator and expect 2+2 to be explained in 50 different ways, all while being screamed at because they hate SFPP. Stressful. And ridiculous. Dealing with the agents and their staff is the worst of this position. There is a definite lack of teamwork efforts from agents. They expect SFPP to do a lot of things they are capable of doing themselves, if they would just bother to look at their own computer. Some account reps are allowed to do whatever they want (i.e. never answer calls) while others are pressured and harassed by supervisors if they have a call that takes more than 2 minutes. Only a select few representatives are given any opportunities to do projects and developmental opportunities. The same ones are picked over and over. The trainers are picked by some mysterious selection process that is never explained and the ones picked are generally ones that are known to the rest of the reps as being less than knowledgeable, as well as negative influences. This was a huge morale issue while I was there.
