      Pros

      Well organized, structured development team, good processes & procedures. Good mix of development technologies and skillsets in team. Opportunities to work on diverse projects both small and large. Big DB work in SQL Server & Oracle. Very experienced team, great team dynamic, everyone is friendly.

      Cons

      IT training budget was almost non-existant due to tightened budgets at a regional level Very few opportunities to work 'outside the box' Teams are being outsourced, and all the work seemed to be going that way too when I left.

      They offer resources for learning.

      Cons

      In my previous roles I've never felt burnout but with this one is the first I was feeling crush. I don't think managers take time to structure the tasks on a 8hrs or 10hrs per day. There are a lot of unrealistic expectations, no work-life balance at all. Even if you made the sacrifice to stay late, you will not be done with the work for the day.
