Pros
- Amazing place to learn general management skills. You will learn to look at a problem from a high level and understand the complex web of sub-problems that are part of it. -Working with smart and humble people. -Understanding that even the most successful companies have deep rooted problems, and you as an outsider can help.
Cons
The only con of working as a consultant is that you will travel a lot and will spend many nights during the week in a hotel. If you are lucky you might get a project within the same city that you are located ( which is much better for work life balance)
