Pros

We are solving big problems with highly collaborative teams. Great culture focused on maximizing your strengths vs. picking on your weaknesses. Lots of customer contact and real-world experience possible. Many opportunities to make team connections through project travel. Highly supportive of inward mobility so you can move around to support your growth.

Cons

Global teams sometimes siloed - you have to work to make connections on teams that cross offices. Sales and marketing-led - which is fine because they know the customer needs - but if you are looking for a design-led company this isn't it. Designers are also embedded with their businesses - have to work to make connections and find mentorship there.

Pros

Direct leader was amazing. Working together efficiently and effectively.

Cons

After dedicating 8 years to Stryker, I was extremely disappointed to learn upon separation that only 40 hours of my accrued PTO would be paid out, despite having accumulated approximately 240 hours. What is most frustrating is that this was never clearly communicated during discussions with HR regarding my departure. Had I known this policy earlier, I could have made different decisions about using my earned time off. Employees invest years of service and should have complete transparency regarding how accrued benefits are handled upon separation. I am sharing this so current employees can educate themselves on the PTO payout policy before making career decisions, as this was an unexpected and costly surprise for me.
