Pros

good discount, friendly staff at local stores

Cons

No respect from management except for "chosen few". No trust and no communication. IT does not support the company's main backend systems. Very dramatic office with lots of politics. Lots of nepotism. Low level folks do all the work and management sits around and praises themselves. No work / life balance whatsoever. Work is supposed to come before anything else and long hours are expected.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
