Pros

Work from home. Positive reviews are fabricated accounts to give this employer better rating then what is accurate.

Cons

No matching 401k. Sutherland places you in a 401k program automatically without informing you automatically signed up. You work holidays with straight pay. No double or time and half pay with some crappy floating holiday you can use to celebrate the holiday by yourself. No clue how sick days work and I've been with the company 2 years. You can't access the online employee handbook because the user permissions block access to it. Tools are unstable. They will drop you to 35 hours a week with a day's notice. Schedule changes and every schedule worse than the last schedule 9 bucks an hour for 35 hours a week with no match in 401k, work holidays (straight pay)and work weekends - seem worth it to you? Supposed to get 1 year Xbox live gold subscription every year. That's not happening. Training - your trained by an emotional women who doesn't even own an Xbox who yells and threatenens employees during the whole training process. Was told I won 5000 points I could use for a gift during training which I never received and emails are ignored. Supervisors and team coaches ignore emails and don't respond. If you work in the United States and wonder how employees from India or the Philippines are treated as employees this job will provide that insight. This job you feel like your in a third world country. Having team coaches talk to you like you never had a job before - great time. Talking to the dumbest brain dead customers who can't even shut up long enough for you to help troubleshoot.

Pros

Remote work and great coworkers

Cons

Extremely low pay for the amount of work and the type of calls that you have to deal with. Lots of mircomanaging. Unrealistic metrics. Lack of knowledge and competency from leadership because at no point should your workers know more than you about the job itself. No care for unforseen life circumstances that affect your ability to work. Very stressful and mentally exhausting which often leads to burnout. No recognition for hard work and meeting metric goals. Too hard to get PTO approved. Tech and internal systems are always breaking which affects your ability to do your job. No one is ever on the same page which often leads to being given incorrect information. No room for growth or opportunities to go into other roles. Benefits are not that great. Mid health insurance plans, no 401K match, no parental leave, and no internet reimbursements. They'll sell you a fairytale in training so BEWARE.
