I have been working at Sutherland full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits, decent pay(I️ think it could be higher) nice co workers, very friendly management. Supervisor explained the job very well and answered all the question during open house

    Cons

I’m not sure yet, I️ haven’t been here longer enough to be able to give any cons yet. I’m sure every job has some.

I have been working at Sutherland full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It seems like there is room to grow within the company but that could be because of their strict policies in regards to attendance so there's always someone getting fired so if you are doing what you're supposed to do then you could be next in line for a team leader position

    Cons

Very strict Easy Come Easy Go meaning and may be easy to get hired and it's easy to get fired. This company is very strict when it comes to their attendance policy.

It's a job..... I was excited about this opportunity and on the first day that all changed...I can't really say it was the company itself it was mostly the other people that they hired along with me that I was in class with that made the experience unpleasant for me I've never been in the company of so many rude and disrespectful individuals I honestly felt as though I was in high school in a classroom where the teacher wasn't there we had a substitute all week was trying her best to prep us for our finals that took place on Friday and she was just as lost as we were and on top of that everyone in the classroom or taking advantage of the lack of training are substitute has everyday I felt as though I was about to have an anxiety attack from boredom Idiocracy and frustration thankfully I found another opportunity so I was able to walk away from this job with whatever sanity I have left. Again I only gave it a week and like I said it wasn't really the job and itself is the people that I had to look forward to working with that made the job seem very unpleasant for me to each his own I just can't work environment such as those. don't trust anyone when you get hired I'm pretty sure someone there will tell you the same thing it's every man for themselves people have gotten fired because people have said the wrong things to one another confided in one another or just simply got snitched on

I worked at Sutherland full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Good benefits, generous hourly compensation

    Cons

Management way too short-sighted in dealing with longer-tenured employees

    Advice to Management

Learn how to deal with longer-tenured employees, and don't make up reasons just to save a buck.

I worked at Sutherland full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It was a job that dribbled in some income, and allowed me to meet many folk in the Rochester area. I do believe that everyone should have a stretch of Sutherland experience.

    Cons

Well, it was a job, so it required me to sacrifice a great deal of my autonomy.
And the managers thought I needed their job, so they behaved as if they owned my soul. Wrong.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you need to do, but recognize that your life and your horizon is also limited by being inside the Sutherland Box. May G_d bless you.

I worked at Sutherland full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The incentives and some of the people are really nice and friendly.

    Cons

HR dept. Forget about transferring because they will throw out any excuse as to why especially if you qualify with no write-ups and tenure of 6 months +. System issues all the time. If you can handle a call center environment this is ideal. Because you will be lined up next to someone like in school. Expect to have several superiors and be micro managed.

    Advice to Management

HR especially needs to communicate better with people. There is no good way to reach out to superiors while on the floor.
