      Good benefits and remote is available

      Cons

      Pay is under industry average. Bonus’s have been decreasing these past few years, even though my annual reviews were excellent. Very little opportunity for advancement. The global “one size fits all” strategy doesn’t work in every market. HR is a nightmare to get a hold of. It’s all about budget and cost savings. Talented people are leaving, older employees are not valued and many forced out this past year. Employees are not being replaced due to budget. It was a great company to work for 10 years ago, but not anymore. Poor work-life balance.

      Over-engineering in making decisions. Lots of hoops to jump through to get things done.

      Pros

      1. 12% 401k match 2. Amazing co workers in the trenches but this is rapidly changing as people look for the exits.

      Cons

      1. Management - the new management team has a maximum personal bonus / profit only mindset. Cost cutting reigns. 2. Constant layoffs. No job is safe. 3. Company has offshored many jobs to India and is in a race to move key underwritering, engineering, claims functions to India as well. Overall, it feels more like a private equity gut job than a publicly traded company.
