Pros

Beautiful office, competitive salaries, and reliable remote access.

Cons

Poor systems and reporting. Toxic culture of bullying by leaders, despite the constant chatter of “values”. No understanding or care for staff wellbeing and work-life balance. In complete denial about the real business culture. Pervasive air of unjustified arrogance in a leadership vacuum. Pace of change slow under the weight of head office oversight. Super lean support functions, largely off shored and difficult to engage, locally are “yes” people, no real interest in supporting staff, don’t want to risk rocking the boat. Having seen “under the hood” struggle to understand how this business has such a good reputation.

Pros

1. 12% 401k match 2. Amazing co workers in the trenches but this is rapidly changing as people look for the exits.

Cons

1. Management - the new management team has a maximum personal bonus / profit only mindset. Cost cutting reigns. 2. Constant layoffs. No job is safe. 3. Company has offshored many jobs to India and is in a race to move key underwritering, engineering, claims functions to India as well. Overall, it feels more like a private equity gut job than a publicly traded company.
