Pros
Though Synopsys overall is a pretty conservative outfit, there's plenty of opportunity to introduce new ideas etc. (as long as you're not rocking the boat).
Cons
Don't feel that career development is really a focus. Sure, promotions are possible, but if you want to expand and enhance your career it's largely up to you.
