      Pros

      The first thing anyone notices about BlackDuck is the culture. From top to bottom the focus is working hard while at the same time having a good time.

      Cons

      Getting acquired by Synopsys. Going from a 400 person company to part of a 14,000 person company has killed all that is good about BlackDuck. My ratings reflect the current environment. BD would have been all 5 stars.

      Leadership is composed of long time employees who are not up to date with current times. Many broken processes Poor planning with acquisition of Ansys Retention efforts of key Ansys team members very poor
