Ad-hoc management, hard work is not recognised - Senior Staff CAE Synopsys Employee Review

Middle management (especially in the CAE side) is poor and stagnant. Most managers are technically competent, but are old school and lack management skills Managers (at least in our group) behave very differently with their management versus with their reports. Disagreement is NOT appreciated. You have to literally suck up to your manager to be in good books. There is not much room for career growth for the CAEs. Lack of recognition for good work is prominent in all groups.
