-A reasonably stable company -Allows working remotely and flex time -If you are titled "CAE" and you dont perform, be rest assured that you wont be fired. If you are titled "CAE" and are among the performers, be rest assured you will not be rewarded in anyway. All CAEs in Synopsys are put into one big bucket when it comes to performance evaluation
Cons
-Peformance evaluations/reviews/appraisals in Synopsys are a BIG BOGUS -opportunities for professional growth and career advancement are extremely extremely limited -There are plenty of folks in our CAE groups who clearly have no work charter, they just come to work browse, chat and go home and the management is perfectly fine with that. -Managerment is clearly looking for yes men. -Sadly, dissenting opinions and people are squashed. Join this company ONLY if you pledge to always agree with your manager -Poor paymaster
