- Less than industry pay - Really unqualified manager can bring bad culture driving dedicated and smart team members out (saw 6 smart teamplayers leaving in last 1 year). Now they are at great companies. Synopsys loss. - Less challenging work at times as the company has steady set of customers - Limited career growth (unless you become friends with your group leader) - Top-down culture
