Pros
Tenured staff, solid products, good culture where employees are valued, minimal politics, Employees have been there a long time because it's a good place to work where one can balance personal and professional life. They have a leadership position in many of their products and when they make a customer commitment, they live up to it.
Cons
There is very little opportunity for advancement or growth. People at Synopsys stay in their roles forever and there is very little that changes from an organizational perspective. Sometimes the company's overly conservative culture limits creativity and out of the box thinking.
