smart people, good processes, good compensation, many opportunities, exciting field, mostly good managers.
Cons
the research and quality culture is in slow decay. entrenched management. politics impede progress. complacency on the rise. young people see better prospects outside EDA. the know-how is locked in the minds of small number of mature people. with each departure, signifficant loss of value. technology is beyond mature. mostly incremental improvements, except for the courages move with ICC2.
