Pros

Free food and drinks from customers

Cons

They micromanage like crazy from that camera in the cabs. The pay is not worth it if you’re not running the entire day they’re not going to pay you dip or pay you any of those bonuses they advertise. There’s 12 managers you get assigned a manager which is a waste of time because you have to work with every single manager anyway you never know who’s on shift only 3 answer their phones reliably. They provide you with 1 dolly and if you request another you’ll be waiting months for them to give you another one only for them to charge you $400 or more for something that’s essential for the job. Warehouse has no accountability they can load those trailers however they choose to and it’s on the driver to figure it out. We also do not get consecutive days off you get Sunday off and a random day of the week off so no time to truly recover. No work life balance you work 10-16hrs unloading food at anywhere with a kitchen and when you get back to the yard have to do the warehouse’s job unloading the pallets, returns, and pickups off your trailer and into the warehouse. Honestly if you come here come for the experience get in get what you need accomplished and I promise after 6 months to a yr so many high paying local jobs will be begging for you to come work for them and they will treat you like gold.

Pros

Amazing benefits and opportunities to buy stock per month. Transferring to different locations and states is very easy after 6 months to a year of employment. Training paid for on an annual basis.

Cons

None at this time of entry.

Pros

You can make money but it all depends on the orders you get, how fast you can go, how long you can maintain that pace without getting burned out. Definitely a young mans sport, as the do refer to you as "industrial athletes."

Cons

Like many industries the hours can be long. For the ones who don't make much on running above rate then you can make up for it in hours. If you soak the hours and run you can definitely make some big money. The turn over rate is extremely high there, even in management. I used to be proud of the union but the teamsters in Cleveland are completely worthless, I would bet they are getting paid under the table to not fight for contract negotiations. When I was there the contract expired and they barely fought for anything, on voting day they literally said they wont back us up if we don't pass this contract....so consider that when you want to work for this place. Also the equipment is so old and broken that people were taking the scanners home just so they could have a good one for the next night.
