Pros
Very stable Canadian bank with generally competent and committed employees. Flexible work arrangements are encouraged and minorities are treated fairly and with respect. Good work-life balance for many employees. Great benefits and low staff turnover.
Cons
Pay is mediocre and good performance is not compensated with either promotion or money. Many senior managers are uninspiring and have been there for ever, relying on contacs to get by. Good place if you have limited ambition. The salary difference between superstars and total slackers is minimal, so most people end up up simply doing their job and keeping their head down. Senior management is remote and inaccessible.
