      Pros

      Best culture on Bay St, great work environment. Being part of a large retail bank ensures stable franchise business flow for the securities arm. Also given the size and stability of TD's retail business, TD Securities benefits from being a AAA counterparty.

      Cons

      Compensation at low end of peer group, chronic underinvestment in IT, parent company's disinterest in capital markets business apparent. Limited growth plans, strategy seems to be milking benefits of being part of TD.
